1972-73 IMPERIAL FOR SALE Tracker starting NOW into INFINITY.

To this day...I have never ever cared if the air conditioning worked...and they never do in my experience.

Put your windows down? Not sure what you're asking, but you can ask away here: Heating, Cooling & AC
Air Conditioning: A modern R134 compressor was installed about a year ago. The system blows cold, but since the original A/C controller is not functional, operation is managed through dedicated aftermarket switches. See picture.

I want to install manual air conditioning, bypassing AUTO TEMP II because mine is broken.
I see you've done that in your car.
How do I do it?

No, I have not, not sure where you got that from, but again, ask your questions here: Heating, Cooling & AC.

Currently on ebay: Pardon Our Interruption...
The "Fuselage Look" was how Chrysler was describing and marketing its fourth generation of the Imperial lebaron that was built from 69-73. The bulging sides at the beltline and tucking in at the rocker panels make it look like an airplane fuselage. It made the gigantic car even wider and longer. Which the 73 Imperial was the largest production car that is not a limousine. A total of 15,796 Imperials were built for the model year 1972 and these cars were used by the US Secret Service which then turned them over to Hess and Eisenhardt, which converted them into limos for Presidential use. This particular unmolested, all original stunner is a sight to behold. This Imperial starts right up and idles, the car shifts nicely and goes through all the gears as it should. It's a smooth ride for sure with good tires and brakes. The interior is in good condition, the paint and exterior are what you would expect from a 53 year old vehicle but still very presentable. The underside has surface rust as you would expect but no holes or rot. You don't really see these cars out and about in the collector car world, in fact there have been very few comps in the last several years. We welcome any questions and inspections here in our Traverse City location.

That looks better than what would be considered driver condition. Maybe all those stickers are what's holding it back.

Thought now would be a good time to refresh the HOW MANY 72-73 IMPERIAL thread since it expires soon with my original title (see below).

How many 72-73 Imperials will be FOR SALE between now and into 2018?

You either hate them, love them or are indifferent to them.
I find them extremely appealing.
I enjoy posting them for sale as I come across them in different sources or have help from other members that beat me to it. Hopefully, it will help any of us that wants to help keep them on the road for our own pleasure and/or the future caretakers to enjoy.
Trovit Cars sends out a daily list of "new" Imperial for sale ads; but the ads are generally not new & no one responds if you inquire about a car. Does anyone have a positive experience with Trovit where they at least were able to contact an owner/

Coming onto the market, apparently:

My dad is going to list his 1973 Chrysler Imperial - triple black - 2 door - all original (besides the wheels). Best sites to list it on? What should he ask? Thanks!

I bought my 72 Lebaron after seeing it advertised on Cars.com. I also reviewed ads from Hagerty & Classic Cars while searching.

Help me out here. Bot or not?
All your questions are decent questions and topics but you are asking them in the absolutely wrong place. Start a thread about the questions.
