Yeah, I'm not real concerned with the quality of the paint. I'm way more concerned with the condition of the body..

What I meant, the paint job could hide other sloppy bodywork.

Pray.... I once bought a car that was in Spokane Washington and had it shipped to Jersey. No regrets. Two others, one from Illinois and the other from Virginia. I wish I had a better look at each one I could have saved myself a bundle of money. Best thing you could do is have it inspected REAL GOOD. The second is have it shipped by an enclosed reputable carrier.

If it was a high buck car, I'd hire one of those appraisers that advertise on Hemmings, but at that price, I'd just ask for LOTS and LOTS of pics and if he doesn't come through with the pics then walk away with no regrets.

Both rockers. Both lower quarters. Engine bay. Door jambs. Trunk floor without the mat. Dutchman panel at the corners of the window. Close ups of the seats. And anything he can get of the underneath.

Use my ebay ad as an example. If you can't inspect the car, demand these kind of pictures.
