Hi guys, new here to the C-Body forum.

I acquired this green 1972 Polara sedan with a 318 engine which I saved from a demolition derby driver. I'm not too knowledgeable on these cars (own a 1963 Impala SS and a 1970 Impala coupe) and wanted to find a safe home for the Polara. It runs well, though sound like an exhaust leak on the driver's side manifold. Pretty decent body with some scaly trunk pan surface rust thanks to the trunk mat. Did Polaras come standard with drum brakes in the front? If anybody wants more photos or have any questions, just let me know, have a clear Washington State title as well. Thanks Raj.

Asking $2,000
Would make a neat cop car replica

Yes, drums were standard fare on '72 C-body cars, though discs were an option in 1972. Standard disc brakes began in the 1973 MY. Nice Polara!

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! There's a couple of things I'm not surprised about here, one is that it's green, the other is that it's as solid as it is being a NW car. One thing that I am surprised about is your fair asking price, thanks for saving it from the demo guy.

That is a nice car! I was trying to work out a trade deal on that one, but I didn't have anything that the previous owner needed. At least it won't get crashed now. :)

Thanks for the kind words. I bought the Polara for a guy I knew who was looking for a police car project expecting to get reimbursed. His overcontrolling wife refused him to pay me and let him have the Polara and I'm stuck with it now. Don't get me wrong, I love the mopar C-bodies owning:
1965 Dodge Custom 880 coupe 383
1967 Fury wagon 383
1969 Fury sedan 318
1969 Fury III sedan 383
1972 Polara 360 white sedan

and finally this '72 which I have no space for, planning to clean it up a post it on Ebay next month, thanks again.
