1972 Imperial , runs and drives. 440, solid no
rust car.

I suppose the roof doesn't count?

Lighten up ... obviously the vinyl has been removed, for whatever reason, and the seller got it into a spray booth so anyone could see the condition of the steel that was underneath. At least we could see the car under good lighting conditions. (Better than most CL listers) Looks pretty clean to me and could be a great save! For 3600 it looks pretty good to me, especially being a coupe. If anyone on the left coast is interested it could be a great find!

I think the car is great... but there is a spot at the right top of the rear windshield plug that looks suspicious to me... I'm not smart enough to zoom or circle it... This car deserves to be saved, the price isn't bad... but I would have the seller give me permission to poke around there a little before settling on price based on no rust.

so, ya'll pretty much know my "picky" question, but if you were serious about this car would you request photos of the undercarriage/frame rails, etc.?

So tempting! rare color interior with buckets. road wheels, and a coupe, all it needs is a sun roof! makes me miss my 73 that's hopefully up and running again over in Isreal !

just curious, I thought that road wheels did not fit on Imperials.....

Always...
X-rays if available...
And never be unwilling to just walk away if its not what you expected...
Value your own time enough to ask before traveling and if its not honestly represented... don't push yourself through the transaction. You don't have to be angry or offensive... just explain that isn't what I understood and walk... you can always come back to it later.

Correct me if wrong but it appears to me to be another '72-73 Imperial next to the passenger side. Also the concern of the spot on top of the rear window could be a piece of the vinyl top remaining. Perhaps it was black in color. Call if concerned or interested.

Tough angle...but they look like road wheels to me too... with all respect intended, can you please prove otherwise?

:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:
The very second I wrote that I said they were not Road Wheels, I jnew somebody would say "No, they look like Road Wheels."
I'll provide the pic, cantflip will explain it intimate detail along with the History of the Wheel as it applies to sex, politics, and religion.
