The very second I wrote that I said they were not Road Wheels, I jnew somebody would say "No, they look like Road Wheels."
I'll provide the pic, cantflip will explain it intimate detail along with the History of the Wheel as it applies to sex, politics, and religion.

Road Wheels have very little to do with sex, I do think the catholic church has a view point on them, politically... those are nice trim rings on steel...

wrong trim rings for roadwheels...believe flips right about steel wheels and thinking gear type centercaps as well due to the extent they stick out

They could be these for 5x5...

But I think they are these with rings and no centers... the pic angle sucks... If they were pretty, I would have expected them to be better shown.

I'm always surprised looking at stuff, knowing what was available and wondering why things got ordered the way they did.......what were they thinking?

Always...
X-rays if available...
And never be unwilling to just walk away if its not what you expected...
Value your own time enough to ask before traveling and if its not honestly represented... don't push yourself through the transaction. You don't have to be angry or offensive... just explain that isn't what I understood and walk... you can always come back to it later.
good advice, thanks.

On my 73 I had to use wheel adaptors because Imperial used a bigger bolt pattern than Chrysler in those years, very little clearance in back with skirts! Yes those could be GM wheels and they could be the bigger bolt pattern as Imperial. Pete had a 73 coupe with sun roof with that same rare gold leather about 35 years ago. Have picture of my yellow 73 sun roof and his brown sun roof Imp together. this was about 1981. both coupes.

Something is up with that paint too. The door jamb looks like some kind of yellow.

Probably the "Greasy" car salesman were too lazy to show that book to the buyers. They just ordered what was the most easy and popular color and options instead of taking the time to sift through all those. What a shame.

From what I've seen in that order guide on that site, some of those color and trim options were awesome.

Yes, they were. It seems to me a lot of people settled on colors and options or were simply uninformed

CLover (Bob) has a cream color '72 Coupe with this gold interior.

This is the one you are talking about? :)

I love the greenish/ gold colour of the interior on this car...but I can't find an exterior color it goes well with.
