I want a 2 door Imperial.
I've had 4 door newports, satellite, station wagons and pontiacs so I have not been looking for a 4 door imperial.
This 4 door was down the road from me a year or so ago so I picked it up and drove it home.
This imperial drove 5.5 hours and over 2 mountain passes to make it home.
Went down with a trailer as a chase truck in case the car couldn't make the passes.
It drove well with very few issues.
When I stopped at the top of the first pass, she just puked all over the ground. Not surprising as the car had not been driven a long distance in several years. The previous owner did drive it about an hour and a half, every summer for about 10 years to a car show.
Showed up and the car was what it was said to be.
Paid the man.
As soon as I paid the man and signed title I went to start the car up, and,
nothing.
Nothing happens. Dead car and won't start.
Drove into town and purchased all the usual's. Ballast resistor, voltage regulator and electronic control module.
Gave me a reason to go into town and check it out.
Switched out some parts and nothing still. Realize I'm a dumb *** and never checked the neutral safety switch before spending a few bucks for spare parts.
Neutral safety switch simply needed a bumping or two.
Started right up and drove on home.

I am very pleased with the actual driving part of this car. It was exactly what I expected and wanted.
Smooth driving up and over mountains with no issues.

64023 original miles. I think that is accurate for his car.

Josh / Cuda Hunter ,
That is some seriously gorgeous scenery !!!
( Almost as nice as the car !!! )
Craig….

That looks like a beautiful drive, and if it can do that, I'd say it's a pretty solid car, too! I've always had a soft spot for those wheels - probably because I grew up in conversion van country.

The scenery here in Colorado is why I can't move. I've tried but just can't bring myself to leave. (even with CO's problems)
It is a SOLID car for sure. That's why I have a soft spot for Rocky Mountain cars, very little rust.

I wasn't trying to make great photos, It's just that the places up here are so photogenic they make the picture great.

This is the worst of the rust.
The car obviously was not in Colorado it's whole life.
Previous owner said it came from Michigan or something like that.

The rear deck panel has a few issues.
One hole for sure that water gets into.
The other rust spots are not holes but could soon be.
