Swap meet getting better by the day. Entire dash is back in it with remote trunk opener, rear window blower, NEW Bluetooth hands free sound system, repaired hand throttle and key tumbler, and swapped the "bluest" interior from the donors. Still waiting on seats so just going to put a front from another car so we can put some miles on it. Blue Light Special $11k getting firmer

This looks like a build thread!!!! Have a few offers (too low) as they and I are waiting on the seats. While waiting I overhauled the Tquad and am putting new U joints in it. Drove it last week and put a couple "hunert" miles on it. Spoke with the descendent of the deceased one civilian owner and got the full scoop on the car. He bought it at state auction in 1980 and drove it until temp gauge began to show hot (even though the car was not running hot). Not being a mechanic, he parked it in a shed for 40 years. The 80k odometer is the original miles. Now we have it ALMOST finished and repaired the faulty regulator that feeds the gauges. Trunk is finished..... still for sale

Put new ujoints in it today but the old ones were not bad. Went by the upholstery shop and our seats are next. Swapped out the passenger side bumper shock and now the bumper is square with the car. Photo below is before that change. This car runs and drives unbelievable for it's age. 60 mph, hands off the wheel, hit the brakes....nary a wiggle. And I forgot to mention the single key and hand throttle police options. Also has the rare oil filler extension tube on the valve cover. If you want to do the 134 AC conversion yourself, price drop $9500.

There was an actual 2 tone monaco cop car up for auction last year in perfect condition.I think the estimate was in the 24,000.00 range because of the condition. It was beautiful.I think it was a 76.But this white one is beautiful in it,s simplicity.Don,t turn it into a dumb blues mobile!!!Sorry , another one of my gripes.Heh. No worries, I have enough Hooptie Blumos. This is the best running driving car we have. Starts, cold fast idle, gauges work as they should. I am going to service the tranny, it works fine but that, the radiator and AC or the only things we have not serviced. It HAS to be worth 9500. Phish

The cop wheels change the character of the car a lot.
My fantasy is to find a lil old granny civilian Caprice as my NYB was and LS it with no visible external clues.

A Vic will work but I'm not knowledgeable enough with Panthers to tackle a major swap on it in this stage of my life.

Will this suffice?

If you are including that generation Caprice,
there's a Pontiac G8 6 speed out there that fits my needs better.

Yea but does Pontiac have 'Pursuit' init? :poke:
I know nothing about this generation Caprice or that generation Caprice, I only saw this because the D*ck snuck mopar in as a keyword. Thought it was unique in the Holden of Australia and scare your passengers bit.

Next year there is a good possibility that I will be in the market for a hooptie Blumo. Do you have any "driver quality" examples that you'd consider letting go?

Yes but Monaco is "over the top driver quality". Every piece and part new or overhauled. I just gave the new small tires in photo to a needy family and put the right size on. Looks a lot better now.
