Do tell your secrets Bob.. how can you tell the quarters are shot? Or just speaking from experience?

Easy....blow up the picture of the rear quarter and you will see that the entire bottom line of the rear quarters are rotted out.if you actually climb under the rear quarter is when the real condition of what is rotted out will hit in the throat. Many other areas are also phone to rot on formals too that you can't see from a 10. Foot picture. Usually all have some level of rust under the vinyl, the cowl area, under the rockers etc. So.... that $2500 excellent looking formal can easily have $10-$15k in body rust and paint repairs.

Trust me. You want the mouse fur over the Corinthian.
I'm telling you the more I see the brown leather cars the more I like them. Upside of that is alot of people hate them, and pass right by. I don't completely hate the mouse fur but at 40 years old how long is it going to hold out when you start using a car that has mostly been sitting. Leather can be made supple again with some work.

Ironically, in my experience at looking at a kabillion-jillion Formals over the years, the fabric seats have held up much better than Ricardo's Favorite cowhide.
