FOR SALE!!! 2,500 o.b.o

1978 Chrysler New Yorker - Brougham Edition. 72,749 original miles.
If you are looking for a solid classic, this is the one! This second owner, garage kept New Yorker is in great condition. It has a 440 V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor and runs great. The body is solid with only a little rust behind the rears wheels at the bottom of the quarter panels. No major dents or scratches. The vinyl top in is excellent condition with no rips or tears. The Brougham edition gives you the luxury of power window, locks, mirrors, and seats. The interior is also in great condition with crushed velvet seats, and wood grain.

Just like any unrestored 1978 vehicle it needs a little TLC but not much. The only thing I believe it will need to pass WV inspection is a wiper arm actuator.

Jeff: If I pay for it, will you pick it up, use it for your Cantflips Excellent Summer Vacation, and bring it back? :poke:

West Virginia "hollows" NYB?

I would put eyeballs on it before buying it.

10 foot Formal pictures are very deceiving.

Aren't those Salon wheels?

Nah... too many doors.

I love this body style, always have, but only in a two-door.
I used to think that these as a 2 dr St. Regis was the ultimate Formal cat's azz but I was wrong.
That padded landau roof that turned the rear windows into opera windows is was a PITA.

Might be, but it looks GREAT! Any car with the St. Regis treatment just looks cool, even with the '74 front end.

For the money I think its a great deal even as a 10 footer it has the 440 the interior looks good just needs to be cleaned but for 2500 I give it a thumbs up

Sure ....but include another $10k to fix the rust. Even with these pictures I can the rear quarters are rusted out of it.
