1978 NYB Progress

Yours look nice. What a difference. That may be a late fall project for me. I've had the passenger side off to get to the blower motor. Should of painted it then. Driver side is a different story. The load leveling compressor is between the fender and the inner fender well.

I dont know if your wheel wells come off as easy as they do on my cars but...

It's not too bad. Did mine on my previous NYB. More a PITA than difficult.
But, a cupla cans of Walmart satin black really did make a big visual difference.
Go for it.

I did mine over a few day span but could have been completed in one full day. It made a hell of a difference and I am glad I did it. Its not so embarrassing as it once was.

Nice work! What you've done looks great and I bet there had to be a night and day difference in performance!

I see people come up and look at my engine at the cruises and car shows, they end up pointing at the rusty inner fenders. I have to paint them so the focus is back on the engine. I need to paint a few other things too, like the master cylinder, brake booster, wiper motor, etc. Won't take much to improve the engine compartment appearance.

Well for me, at Carlisle I guess people will see some dirt and a bit of rust under the hood of my car--but all I will say its a "work in progress" effort...nothing to be embarrassed about.

Me too, there's always something to work on when you have a big Chyrsler.
