The E58 360 survived into 1980 on J-bodies, but is incredibly rare.

Speaking of rare, the subject car is a special-edition model. It "might" be called Corinthian Edition, or something else. (I forget) They used the big whitewall w/gold stripe tires previously available only on the '79 5th Ave.

Interesting tidbit on those tires... When I was doing some work at the historic archives I came across some product-planning notes involving a special edition Cordoba code-named "Gatsby" (I assume after "Great Gatsby".) This model was to have all-white tires!

I'm assuming someone put the kibash on that, lol.

I know the 360 option on the Mirada i think was installed in only 70 some odd cars.1 year only option i believe in the cmx package.wonder if you could shoehorn a 400 in it.heh.B.B
