2014 FCBO New Years Resolution

Bob, what's it gonna take for me to close this deal on NO VINYL TOP.
Go ahead. Shoot me an offer.
The worse that can happen is I take it to my boss and he says "no".

ok ill play too.
new front end suspension kit
do something with the vinyl top - ive peeled it off, but haven't prepped it or anything :/
get my g.d.m.f.s.o.b. passenger door unstuck

My resolution is to have my 65 roadworthy by the end of the year....even though the roads may not be worthy of driving by then.

As as an added bonus, I would like to have the bigblock installed and running in the dart.

my cb-body plans for 2014:
1.) Continue of the search for a B5 or B7 blue 1970 SFGT
2.) working on my 69 Sport Fury CV Show car. We fixed a lot of small stuff lately, we will finish the trunkfloor which has a few holes and it will hopefully be a summer daily in 2014 in nice weather

My resolution is done !!! I found a replacement 1969 Sport Fury Vert !!!!!

With the right color, engine, options and numbers matching to boot !!!!!
:eek:s_dancing2: Someone pinch me !!!

My c body plans just got cut in half of more. This year will probably just be all my powder coat worked and rebuilding my front end. Original plans were to get the body blasted and painted as well but that plan went out the window when I was informed Christmas Day that we will be expecting another addition to the family. And I don't mean another Mopar.

Well my resolution is to finish the 68 RT Charger then later in the year find and purchase a Sport Fury or S23 or GT coupe and hopefully not see it get crushed beforehand! I have already had a cry about the GT in texas from a couple of months ago, sniff, bottom lip quivers.

Lol! Sounds like everyone is going to be busy in 2014!

Of course we'll need plenty of pictures from everybody!

Goof luck Team FCBO!

I have to figure out two things about my vinyl top. Do I ditch the vinyl top and paint it body color. Or do I put a black vinyl top on it since black vinyl was not a factory option with PB3 Cadet Blue Metallic. My fender tag and build sheet says the factory vinyl color was blue. I think it looks good with black vinyl and may look too blue with blue paint, blue interior and blue vinyl.

Comments???

Restore it to factory specs, in my opinion.

First is to drive Goldie the entire Ohio driving season, which is April to November 1st.
Get my center console installed and all interior lighting sorted out.
Drop the transmission and rebuild.
Pull the engine, perform everything I can do to the engine without tearing down, and paint.
Paint the engine bay and all related items.
Rebuild the power steering.

The big goal is to get this list done by April 1st so I can enjoy the first goal.

I'm actively restoring several cars that I need to finish before I can really tear into the Fury. Still in the land of hope I think I can have it running and driving by the end of 2014. Not done of course, but hopefully drivable.

At the rate you've moved on Goldie up to this point you should be able to knock that out in a long weekend Mike!
