2014 FCBO New Years Resolution

This is my '78 NYB in Cadet Blue 76,000 miles, amazingly enough it has a 360 in it. California car.

Here is the color I'm going to get. Starlight Blue Sunfire Metallic

Also, here is a pic of my '76 Town and Country 28,000 Original miles!

Since this picture was taken I bought a set of Road Wheels and new white-walls for the New Yorker and put the old white walls and hubcaps from the Brougham on the T&C... I couldn't stand those Blackwalls anymore!!! LOL
I also mounted one fender skirt on it.(was in the "trunk") But I'm in search of one more (Passenger side) if anyone knows of one please let me know.

I have to figure out two things about my vinyl top. Do I ditch the vinyl top and paint it body color. Or do I put a black vinyl top on it since black vinyl was not a factory option with PB3 Cadet Blue Metallic. My fender tag and build sheet says the factory vinyl color was blue. I think it looks good with black vinyl and may look too blue with blue paint, blue interior and blue vinyl.

Comments???
Blue Mod Top..... that's right I said it.

I hope to have the stub frame powder coated and the front and rear suspension installed.

Well my resolution is to finish the 68 RT Charger then later in the year find and purchase a Sport Fury or S23 or GT coupe and hopefully not see it get crushed beforehand! I have already had a cry about the GT in texas from a couple of months ago, sniff, bottom lip quivers.

There is a '71 Sport Fury GT on Seattle WA. Craigslist site. He refers to it as a ten footer and for $29000.........Perhaps ten grand less IF it is a accurate description.

I think the one you are referring to is more like a ten miler....

Hi Pete,

the green 71 SFGT promo car is a 10 Footer. The seller (Dan) has a bunch of v-code SFGT from 1970, too (really rough).
He advertised them here, too and they have been dicussed to death.

For NYB, I vote blue vinyl top if the car has a blue interior, IMO, the vinyl top should match the interior. If you decide to go without the vinyl top, I would paint the roof the same blue as the body color. IMO, that would look nice too. :)

My 2014 C-Body Resolutions?

Well, let's see. :laughing4:

1. Get my F-100 running. Fire up the engine, put the interior back in, get some wheels and tires on it and drive it.
2. Get my concrete floor in my garage. Then work on insulation, drywall and some source of heating.
3. Get the rest of the front end parts for my Newport and maybe even install them. I'd love to rebuild my engine too, but I know that won't happen this year.
If I think of any more I'll post them.

I'd like to get to Carlisle- but Who am I kidding? work will get in the way again.

I have seen the remains of the 6-pak car advertised for years but never a photo of the green '71 car. I love the one year only wheels on it. In 1980 I owned a gold '71 Sport Fury Coupe with those wheels. My car had matching gold vinvyl interior with a 360. Now long gone, I own my '70 Fury III ex-squad with a 440.

Those wheels are RARE! Bill from CT has a set on e bay right now for serious coin.....e body money

I was hoping an announcement of '75 Imperial convertible.
I'm disappointed. For me....

Well. . . It is my fervent desire to at least get the Garage Mahal under roof in 2014.
