300 c

My shelby has Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. They will be replaced shortly with Michelin pilot SS. They work ok when they are really hot, but I don't track my car so they at sub par on the street. No ability to hook at all. Pretty common complaint from fellow GT500 owners. If they work for you, that's fantastic. I wish they did for me, I hate replacing nearly new tires.

Gotta admit I'm jealous. Those Shelbys are amazing cars. As I get down to the short strokes towards retirement in several years those kind of vechicles are not in my budget. There's one that shows up at our local cruise nite. Being a Mopar guy I try not too drool to much LOL.

It is a great car, but I'm still a Mopar guy at heart. But I will admit that Fords SVT team does build some great vehicles. The wife's Raptor is amazing for what it is as well.
I wonder if the modern muscle car wars will die down soon?

Well, I didn't say they hook.

I can't get any 20" anything to hook. Even M&H 17" dr's are useless for hooking.

I am not talking drag slick hook, hell I can feel my front end slide on grooved cement road surfaces in town when turning unless the tires are really, really warm.

Guess what I should have said is that for daily driving, it takes extra precautions with those tires on my car. Very well documented on the forums.

My car sits pretty low so that prolly helps a bunch. I have Eibach coil overs cranked all the way down.

I have heard really good things about the Eibachs. I scrape at stock height getting into my alley, I wish I could be lowered.

I hit a manhole during a smoky 60 MPH burnout. That was a bummer & I had to replace a muffler. I can't even get into my buddies neighborhood cuz I scrape but I've put 30K or so road miles on with her scraping.....

As for the Eibachs, I would recommend them for sure. Easy weekend project.
