Thanks for posting photos everyone. For some reason I haven't been getting alerts on this thread.
I felt bad but better not taking a chance to come to the show.
Personally, I think Trixie would have felt intimidated with all those perfect body & paint on this sea of C-bodies...
She's a great runner & easily made there & back but likes to wave at others as she drive by other cars
Perhaps one day she will get a fresh coat or paint & massaged body panels back to her original sleek lines but for now she is happy to haul my butt around locally when I'm up to it.
I felt bad but better not taking a chance to come to the show.
Personally, I think Trixie would have felt intimidated with all those perfect body & paint on this sea of C-bodies...
She's a great runner & easily made there & back but likes to wave at others as she drive by other cars

good time got lucky enough for the old man to be able to go, so i quess it was a great time.
loved the cars, wished i didn't live out where the men are men and the sheep are scared. maybe i would get to see more of that stuff.

OK folks, here are some of the photos I took. Unlike most folks, I started shooting my camera early (as I had to leave before lunch), so you'll see some cars that are not in the other shots. If anyone wants a high-def photo, please PM me -- I continue having issues with posting nice-def pics in the regular threads (no such issues in PMs or in the gallery).
I'll start with an overview. The blue Newport was for sale, brought in by locals who had heard about the meet. Nice folks, talkative. The car had too much rust (floors) for my taste at the $6.5k ask, but the engine ran well.

As you can see from the above, photos that look really sharp on my super-duper computer screen and even on my camera viewfinder look pretty low-res once I upload them.

And, finally, Medina at Volo. @'69FuryIIIConvertible, @cbarge, @71Polara383 and I went for a drive to investigate a trans kick down issue. You can see all of them in the car, with Leaburn driving, and Nick and Wyatt using the rather pristine back seats. The last pic is a variation of one I posted earlier, with @cbarge solving the kick down issue. Thanks again!
