Just looking to see if anyone can help me put a price on a cross ram intake set up complete including linkages and hardware minus the exhaust manifolds. Painted red, very nice condition. They're off a 61 300 G. Thanks

What they are worth will depend a lot on the condition. These units were pretty famous for burning out the spring pits for the automatic choke. If the spring pits are solid, you have a viable set of Rams. The market for these is a pretty specialized one in that the rams need the exhaust manifolds to get heat to the choke assemblies. You sale is going to probably be to someone who needs a set that is solid to replace their burned out set. Are the carbs still on the Rams? The carbs are a very hard item to find and will probably raise the value a lot, especially of all the linkage parts and the air cleaners are intact. I would place a value on the ram set with the carbs, linkage and air cleaners with intact spring pits at about $1500-$2000. A bare Ram set with intact spring pits at $500. Rams with bad spring pits are not worth diddly to anyone doing a restoration.

Bare runners are listed at $900 and up, and usually don't sell very fast. Complete setups sell faster, but still take time due to the above mentioned hassles, and limited intrest/demand.

Dave is right on the money abt condition and price. Some folks out there are looking to make a killing on non complete rams without linkages etc. The only thing i would add is if the carbs are in poor or non rebuildable condition and or the exhaust manifolds are not available, an electric choke set of carbs does work well. That's what I put on my rams and it runs great. Good luck with the sale. Oh, some pictures would be appreciated!

No carbs or air cleaners.... if they're solid and un- modified with linkages and balance tube, you're at abt $500-750. Yes. Ebay sellers are asking more, but they're not moving either.
Balance tube hoses are reproduced and I think linkages are too. I made a set for mine and kept the originals.

When i had an excellent set of long ram intakes, balance tube, linkage, it took Forever to find a buyer for all that at $600.00.
They are a hard sell, to find buyers for.
A Very limited market.
Sure you see these things advertised at lots higher prices, but they don't sell.

I'd pay 400 for just a usable manifold set up. I just like the look.I see them bout 800-1000. Full set ups 1500-2000 ,but they don't move fast

Saw a set with carbs on Facebook for 700, hasn't sold in a couple months so far

One problem with the ram manifolds is that although they will fit both low and tall block engines, they won't fit in most cars as they are to wide and won't clear the fenderwells.

What do these spring pits look like? Just curious if anybody has a handy photo....
