Hello FCBO! I'm in the process of buying a 64 Imperial money pit.

I've been on FEBO a little over 18 months and figured since it's so helpful, you folks here are sure to be helpful too! The car is going to need things like window weather stripping and small plastic parts. Interior help. I can do the mechanical things. My plan is to make a fun driver out of it. Attached is a few pictures. All the dash parts are on the back set. All the chrome is there. Should be an exciting project to get running.

Hey @Xcudame , welcome to the site from the Motor City! I recognize your screen name from FEBO where I am also a regular. You will find this site equally helpful. I have a couple of ‘64s along with some extra parts.

Thanks Detmatt! Once I get the Imperial home and find out what I need, I'll make a WTB post. Plus I'll be pestering you for advice as you got two of them!

Went and took off three wheels that had flat tires and had three tires mounted that will hold air to get the Imperial on the trailer this Friday. Attached is a photo of the "Body Tag". Any help provided decoding it would be greatly appreciated. I know 68 to 78 pretty good, but the early ones I don't know so well!

0424 is April 24, 1964 build date
0015 is the fifteenth car built that day
924 Imperial Crown 1964 model
M7H Leather and cloth seats gray and white
SS Ivory paint no vinyl top, just Ivory paint
5234 some how this translates to 413 727 automatic

After that, I have no clue!
