So, I am looking for some parts for my '65 Fury III. What other years and models can be used for these parts:

Rear Bumper
Trunk Lid
Dash

Also, any recommendations for radio's, that look time appropriate but have additional features such as CD & Aux In, that aren't too pricey? If not, I will just end up mounting one under the dash.

:sSig_thanks:

Those are all one year only parts. Rear bumper can come off a 65 fury I II III OR sport fury. Trunklid because of tail lights can only come from a fury III or sport fury. Dash can come from fury I II III or sport fury. All parts can be from 2 door or 4 door but have to be from 65 fury only.

Damn, what a testie slap that is haha. I've been looking all over for some 65 parts that aren't insanely overpriced. For example, my 65 is going to be a driver not a trailer king and I'm not looking for a rear bumper that is in perfectly mint condition and been rechromed for 800 bones.

The radio with MP3 capes and so on is something you are going to have to send your radio off to be converted. Anywhere from $350 - $450, depending on who you use.

If you want to keep the stock radio, conversions are expensive. http://www.turnswitch.com/ did the conversion of the EL Radio in my 66 Charger. The EL lighting still works after the conversion which was a big plus for me. I had them add Aux In and Amp out.

If you dont car about hacking up the dash trim the radio goes in you can do this. to put a newer radio in the car. Way cheaper than the radio conversion. It's really up to your tastes and budget. That is my 65 Sport Fury in the picture below. I however for the build of this car sourced a radio delete plate and will eventually have the ash tray removed and the dash frame modified to accept a large touch screen radio. Again all about your tastes and budget.

This is me just wondering. But are you needing the whole dash? As in your car has no dash in it? no metal? cause if that the case i think you can use a 66 fury dash. but the plastic and i think heater controls etc.. are differant. But if you're replacing whole thing no biggy. Both are same shape. If you're needing the dash pad... are not both cars the same pad?? IDK. And you can buy new pads.

Kelly great looking interior.. wish ours was a bucket seat and console 4 speed car.
