Put it on eBay with a Reserve set to the price you want. This will tell you what the market will bear.
I was misleid because it wasn't till 68 that vin #s were stamped on block. I have the certicard and Fender Tag decoded and tells me where is was built the options color exterior interior the year and day the engine and trans. Everything matches up to my car I heard there are no real numbers broken down other then 300,000 Furys built .02 % were 4 speeds. i have seen 65 Sport Furys sell with original 426 and one sold over the summer. I spoke to this guy a few times and he told me they are very rare his dad bought one off the showroom floor in 65. so how could that be possible. John Scotti collector in Canada bought one took him years to buy it from someone from Alabama. If you go to all pars they give you engine selections in 65. I have hagerty insure it for 38,000 knowing the details. If you know about these cars let me know I believe it is.I have it up for sale 27,500 I believe there were between 100 and maybe 200 built
...it has the same power 440 HP its on the same platform as GTX and the 426 in 65 was 700 dollar option. It looks like grandpas car but with a ton of power it hard 355 gears 4spd hurst shifter.
First; no, it's not the same platform as a GTX...
Fury = "C"-body. GTX = "B"-body.
Secondly; this would have an INLAND shifter in '65, assuming it's a stock shifter. The Hurst shifter was available in 1968 and newer Mopars.
What do you mean by that hey look I had an agreement one of the members on here with insulting comments. I thought this forum was about a group of guys that have a love for Mopars and help out one another with mechanical questions if your looking to by certain car you get help if some knew where that car was located etc I try to be gentleman on this sight and if I say post something yhay u don't understand or if someone is being rude and says he has a headache because I don't put periods at the end my sentence that is crossing the line. Like your comment why are u calling me a child. If it was about the other day I apologize to anyone and everyone because. I had one comment that set me off and I was on a tear. I do not bash anyone on this I thought this forum was about a group of guys that love mopars. That give opinions which you did on the Fury and I really did not take it personally I just got home from work 1. I was cranky and tierd 2. For 5 days i had problems with administration I forgot my password so they would rest it and it would not and this happened for almost a week and they finally was given another password and different directions and it worked so with that frustration. i exploded that day but I my apology was posted to everyone
Thank you I'am glad to be backWelcome back! !
I thought that the Hurst was available in a '64 car, the Inland shifter was '65 - '67, then Hurst in '68.
I was thinking about that earlier, and remember seeing an Inland in a '68 RR a friend in our local Mopar club had years ago, so that was a mid-year change.
