1. Wow. Has that been Kryloned or is that original.
2. Don't know why he thinks parking it on MDF is better than concrete.

He doesn't want the tire marks from parking the warm tires on his garage floor. The same reason dealers use tile or carpet tiles on the showroom floor.
Tire marks on a concrete garage floor? Oh, the horror...
I bet you have to take off your shoes at the door and all the furniture has slip covers.
And doilies under each lamp...

the most "neato" tail lights
Neato: Ford: T-bird: Sequentials. Yes, I know: some new Mustangs have them. But LEDs seem to make it all too easy.

As a postscript, I give honorable mention to Charger taillights: 1966 through 1970. Well before 1980s Buicks, the full-width early Charger lights were quite distinctive.

Since we are totally off subject I am partial to my 66 300 taillights even from the side.

STATE v. CARTER | Leagle.com

"...run to an automobile and drive away. The car was white and had taillights shaped like triangles, wider at the outside and tapering toward the center. The rear lights did not extend across the whole back of the car. It had out-of-state license plates with yellow or gold numbers on a dark blue background. Mrs. Valentine saw the car leave the corner of Lafayette and East 18th Streets, where the tavern was located"

Funny. Me too.
Shame to waste them on a 4 dr sdn, tho.

World's most beautiful back end with the tail lights and the slope of the fastback, but the 2 door hardtop had the the world's most ugly quarter window shape. No wonder sales plummeted in a boom year.

I guess it gave AMC an idea they could run with.
