It's got a good stance but it's pretty rusty - roof, framerails, sheetmetal, heaven only knows where else.
The doors and hood seem to be hte only body panels that don't have rust holes.
But the engine seems to run well and it also seems a mostly-unmolested 383hp car.
Fix what needs fixin' and don't be tempted to restore it IMHO, just drive it around rough.

Was surely a striking car when new.
Turquoise (?) and black, with the flow-thru ventilation AND also AC.
Seems to have potential, but that potential also surely brings a where-do-you-stop problem.

Replace the subframe for sure, patch up the rear spring shackle area, and maybe do some better patching in the trunk.
But can you replace hte subframe without going nuts rebuilding all of it, and re-gasketing/repainting hte engine? Surely needs a timing chain, and what else?
The concrete is visible thru the passenger front floorboard, and I doubt it's the only one.
Plus it needs brakes and surely all the other road-ready stuff. Wheels/tires look recent, though.

This one likely could be prowling the streets for not a lot of money - but surely lots of time in metal-fab.

Ebay price has dropped $300 to $5500.
Anyone that has looked at the rust issues and steered clear isn't going to be swayed by a $300 drop.
IMO it's a $3000 car with the structural unknowns. And only to a guy that already has a subframe laying around.

Now that I think of it, I know a guy with one.

Weird to see what look like brand new tires and wheels on such a rust bucket... methinks he should have invested that money elsewhere, or at least not bothered before selling it!

What makes this car interesting is it was built at the Windsor, Ontario Canada plant for American consumption.
Fender tag shows built to U.S. specs.
The Belvidere plant was just opened in 1965 and by 67 was operating at full capacity. Just barely able to keep up with the demand.
The Autopact agreement allowed the Windsor plant help build and ship cars to the State side.
Creating more jobs on the Canuckian side.

Sure being a 383hp car can be desirable but not exactly as rare as a 440 Magnum car or a 4 speed car.
It can be restored but there are better examples out there.
If the new owner restores it, it will be for love.
Will take a lot of work to uncobble the cobbled up mess.
PRobably more than its worth.

I think the worst part of that car is the roof. I agree, $3,000 is about right for that car and only because you get the wheels and tires.

The 2dr post car by that seller got scooped up by @Paul Stubbs:
Just had to buy it.

This fasttop Sport ended with a $3500 asking price and apparently no takers.
I say 'apparently' because it's been relisted - at $4900!

This one would make a good donor to spice-up a plain Fury 2dr into a Sport - wheels/tires, 383-4, buckets/console/steering column, rear seat + speakerpanel, etc.
Doorpanels could be salvaged and new hi-fi speakers installed in the holes.

That being said I made him an offer on his car. Will keep posted on his response
