its not going to bring more than 1,500 in the condition it's in..........QUOTE]

Several years back I bought a 68 sportgrain out of a salvage yard. Same thing, ran when parked 20 years ago. I gave $2200. for it and it went down hill from there. I was headed upside down after fixing the mechanical issues and interior repairs, ..... before even thinking about body and paint, chrome, tires etc.

I ended up just trading it for a 65 Coronet, abandoned project, that I parted out. Ended up breaking even. (I did get some nice parts for my Coronet 500).
Sad because it had the potential to be a really nice sportgrain. Best to buy one of them done.

It's certainly not a car you buy to make money off of, but one you'd really want to have for yourself.

Turbine bronze - I bought it in New Mexico around 20 years ago. I planned to restore them when I had lots of money and the time - now - I just want to find them good homes. Times have changed, I guess.

unusual colour for a sportsgrain haven't seen one before in MM1 bronze.
Of the white/creme coloured ones one seems to have a v-roof. Not seen too often.

If you want to sell them: clean them up (outside, interieur) put air in the tires and see if you might get them to run.
Running projects are way easier to sell compared to a car that looks abandoned

With the parts and skills I have, making them run would be easy. Hell, I may just fix them up and offer them in the spring.

Now you're talking!

:icon_thumright: That would be the best bet ...... More likely to attract a buyer that will do the cars good, increase your profit margin and get rid of some more parts.

It would take a strong will and a vision for someone to step up to the plate the way the cars look now.

I knew that going in, (most Cbodys are that way). I reached a point where it was going to be at least a X2 investment to value ratio. My heart just wasen't in it. Had it been a convertible I would be driving it now.
