Holy shitsky! Nice!!!

Yea this car is a repeat by never the less still a Awesome car.

Hmm, I'm looking at the engine bay and wondering why is it so rough across the top of the radiator support? Plus looking at the fender wells they appear rather tired looking too, the inner edge of the fenders just shows a bit and has that same rough look that the radiator support has, the engine has been recently repainted, I would be curious to see the underside of this car to establish just how many miles this car really has.

I too noticed that and question the 28,000 mile claim. That small slice of the fender, on the inside, should be body color but it is pitted instead. Would love to see under the car. Someone is lying...

The rad support and inner fenders look just like the New Yorker parts car I had. It was a rust-proofing spray that had been applied.

Any C body 383 I saw with a four speed had the 330 HP high performance engine, and manifolds in 68', and a different air cleaner. I wish I could read that data plate.
On the other hand, Newport in 68' could be bought with a 383 two bbl and a three on the tree. So it is possible I guess

Looking at the pic of the inner fender, and the fender tag...it sure looks like a 41 for the engine code, and 5 for the transmission. That would make the tag from a 318/auto car?

The bottom line is that this is a nice car (creation maybe). And if it is.....nice job!

How on earth can you make out anything on the tag from these pics??

l cant get anything even with resizeing...if it was a high res pic could pull info off it

Personally I think this is just a 383 2BBL automatic car originally. For one thing, if it was a 3 spd standard then converted to 4 spd, you couldn't get it with a Tilt-A-Scope.
Does anybody have any info that shows that a 4 spd manual was available on the 1968 Chrysler model lineup?
