For Sale 68 Newport 4 speed

In the 67' book, 440 eng, D2,P2,C2 2538398
Chrysler literature for 1967 states that the 440 TNT was available in the Newport, Newport Custom, 300 and the New Yorker, but not the T&C wagon. It also states that with the 440 TNT, a 4spd was available in the 300 only.

As far as the 1968 Passenger Parts catalogue(March 1969 superseded April 1968) I can only find P2 & D2 for the 23 spline A833 (early)#2892049 (late)#3410609 for the 383 and P2 & D2 for the 18 spline A833 #2892047 for the 440. There is a C1 with the 383 for the 3 spd A745 #2538329.
What's the date on your parts catalogue?

Now, I'm not taking this as gospel. Simply something I came across.

Thanks Stan, I may have seen the 300, it has been a long time. But I knew I wasn't Imagining it. Now dating Karen Carpenter was truly a figment of my Imagination! Lol
 
Not to mention her running to the bathroom...
