This super clean rust free 68 Newport custom fast back was donated to a national charity in 2014 in the dry state of Texas. It was sent to be sold at a auto auction where we purchased it. It was originally pea green and we completely disassembled it and painted it panel by panel. It is a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix blue. We've included the paint code for if ever needed. The interior is near mint condition. It has a 8. 3/4 rear and 727 transmission. We bored the 383. 30 over and put new crank and pistons along with a nice sounding street cam. Custom dual exhaust old school offenhauser dual 4 intake. Edlebrook carburetor. New staggered 18 inch riddler wheels. Aluminum radiator. We finished this car in 2016 and it's only sat on our showroom floor, as seen by the sticker still on the tires. New vinal top. The air conditioning parts and other original parts are in the trunk. We would suggest having it looked over good before making a long drive.I don't know about you, but these AI-written 'about this vehicle' paragraphs are so lame to me. It was originally green, so we painted it blue and left the interior as green.
The interior is near mint - if you ignore the tears in the passenger seat.
We finished it in 2016 and it's been stored inside the entire time, yet it has managed to get some rust bubbles, and the crust at the bottom of the rear window wasn't addressed.
The AC parts are in the trunk - because when we rebuilt the engine we were too lazy to reinstall the AC and get it operational.
But when we had the engine out, we took the time to spray everything with bedliner, including all the stuff on the firewall. We wrapped the wiring harness with plain electrical tape - you can deal with that later when it starts peeling off.
And we installed some custom carb linkage that is seriously hillbilly, we're not sure if the rear carb even opens. But at least we disconnected the carbs from that silly linkage that goes to the trans.
We put on 18" wheels and tires, but we ran out of $$ to get matching lugnuts.
We raised it up with our rollback's stinger until the rear bumper hit the ground, just so's you can see nothing noteworthy.
And we're asking $20,500 for this gem of a car.
This car left the factory as a Custom and with buckets and console from the 300 (presumably that was factory-installed).
If they had painted it the factory color (or at least a complementary color like silver or gold) they might've had a chance to get somewhat-near that price?
But not now.
