I remember someone coming up with a substitute bulb when we were talking about superlites 2-3 years ago. Damn if I'm going to do a search.

Yes, three, two NOS but Fred has one installed and working on his self restored 70 convertible

Glass

Yeah, it is in pristine condition and has never been installed by looking at the original plastic (red) mounting tabs. The lens looks like blown glass which is something that surprised me that they didn't use a regular headlight style lens. Pretty cool!

The lenses helps amplify the beam.... They are cool, always wanted one on a car.

Sylvania H3 worked pretty good. I had to modify the bulb flange so it would fit the locator pin. And the bulb wire fits perfect in the original wiring connector.
