69-70 wheel openings, same or not ?

I have a 69 Fury convertible and need rear wheel opening moldings. Are they same in -70 model ?

No, the face or bevel of the molding is different.

nope..they will interchange but you need a full set of one or the other..

OK, Thanks for the info. So if I understand correctly the shape of the opening is same, but the looks of the molding itself is different ?

I must be lucky , I’ve parted 3 -69 sport furys , 1-70 fury convertible and the wheel trim I removed from both years of cars was identical . I was at desert valley auto wreckers in Phoenix Arizona and got the wheel trim off both 69 and 70 furys for the nice set I have on my car now. I would greatly appreciate a close up picture of your 69/70 years of trim and see the profile differences . These are the only pictures I currently have of the wheel trim on my 69 sport and a couple of my 69 sport parts cars that I parted and inventoried to my sea can.

You are extremely lucky. Those are just what I am looking for. If you or someone else just have an idea where to find I would be glad to hear. And if they fit it wouldn't matter if they are out of -69 or -70

Here is the set off my '69 Fury Convertible. They are pretty rough but it gives you a good idea the shape you're shooting for. I've bought a few used sets mostly e & b body but they all seem to have jacked up mounting holes. Look close when you do your shopping. Mine here had no less than 8 different size screws holding them on. In the first pic it's LF LR RR RF.
Then I got a close up of the edge and a rear view shot. Good luck and happy hunting.
