'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

Did check on the Fury, apparently, the Fury gets along good with the Easter Bunny who is living under it

I had to give a dead Easter Bunny an Indian Burial yesterday while cleaning up the yards and burning all the winters sticks and limbs .. I'm sure he lived a long a fun filled life though.

I finally finished reading the whole thread. cant wait to see more on angel. keep up the good work. hope your garage space works out for you

Any pics of the jack storage anyone? The nyer has a mount up by the rear axle hump. That's a good spot... thinking of leaving it there incorrect or not. Any see a problem? Will the Top well upholstery rub or catch? Love this forum - real life savers! !

You need this...

and the bolt that goes with it.

You will still need to mount the spare in the convertible location as it gets in the way of the top.

The thread is getting long! Thank you..........you guys help at least keep me motivated among other things!

Speaking of garage space and such, Angel is ready to go, he's packed, everything around him is gone, and I've got all his bits and pieces either inside his trunk or interior or in my shed at the house here.

You never know how much crap you have until you have to move it!

Now I just need the weather to co-operate!

If I ever move out of this home first thing to do is calling the garbage truck, there's half of it going into the trash can.

Nick, my mother saves almost everything, and I have to smack myself so I don't do the same. I have new stuff in my shed that I can't find. I need to do a BIG spring cleaning.Good luck with yor project.

Keep pushing, Nick...the reward at the end is well worth it.

That blue is absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
What's the name of the blue?

Thank you...she has been a labor of love over the past 5 years. Not sure what exactly the blue is called (I did a color match), but I think it's close to B5/B7 (whichever of those is the blue). It's more of a royal blue with some metallic flakes in it.

I WAS on the fence choosing between black and white interior for my 300...:love10:

The white offers a good contrast from the paint, which I think really accentuates the long body lines of the Fury.

Certainly harder to keep the interior clean, but it's worth it to me.
