I may have been A dumb truck driver all my life but I also have two Engineering degrees. One in Aeronautical and one in Manufacturing Management. I full well understand how insurance works. After a semester in Statistics and a second semester of Advanced Statistics in which insurance actuarial tables are used extensively, you learn all too well how to understand insurance and how to beat them at their own game. I absolutely made the right (and only) decision. Resume the head slapping. lol.

Ha! we are more alike than you'd think. I got stupid sheep skins covering half my office wall, but people think I'm dumber than a door nail b/c of what I choose to do in my life. I would not have it any other way.
Salud!

I never did hang them in the cab of my truck....

I very briefly flirted with driving/wrenching on trucks for the US Army shortly before graduating from high school, was gonna be posted somewhere in Texas. My shop teacher thought it was best future for me, AND I thought noone would be able to tell me what to do while I was in my truck (yea, I was naive as all hell). While at the Philadelphia processing/intake cnter, I lost my nerve after being made to bend over and cough in a room with 20 or so other dudes naked in the same position. Left shortly after taking the oath. The station CO was not amused.

I felt bad for wasted their time but I figured out while bent over it was not for me. So much for trucks.

I'd guess you were one of the drivers with the very clean trucks.

My office was spotless. You could eat off the floor. Neat and organized. I demanded my partner to not leave as much as a dirty paper towel when he parked at the end of his run.
