I have a '70 Fury with a Midland Ross brake booster. Part number is 2944041 (I think). Replacements aren't cheap if you can find one. (There is a relatively inexpensive booster listed for my car, but it's very different from the Midland Ross set up and would need loads of changes.)
I got focused on the brakes when the master let go and leaked fluid. Removing that revealed a fairly corroded looking booster. Previous owner said he had no problems with the booster, although the previous owner to him thought there might be a problem. I've never had the car running, so I don't know.
So I figured boosters can't be that complicated and took it apart. I've never had one apart before, but I guess it's all about vacuum leaks? The diaphragm appears to be in one piece with no holes. Am I missing anything? Any opinions welcome!
