Does anyone know what the vin of the black with white interior SFGT that was at Mcacn show was?
Anyone have a picture of that car? I assume this is a well known car.

It's @billyfury GT. Star of the show imo. I'm so glad they were able to bring it there! Bill & his son did an amazing job getting it ready for the Tuxedo Display. Notice the aftermarket vinyl top has been removed.

So the cars above are not the same ?.......vinyl top vs non vinyl top......
They are the same car. Bill bought the car with the aftermarket/dealer installed vinyl top already on it. It's been something he's wanted to remove for as long as he's had the car. The invitation to the show was the excuse he needed to finally rip it off and bring the car back to original.

These will give you a general idea of the "Tuxedo Display".

Billy Fury & Fury Frank's effort and commitment to get the top redone and rust repair done for the show were more than laudable, a stunning car for sure!

Gotta give Dan Pouche much credit for putting the display together,...not an easy thing to do!

I did a Google search earlier today and found a "V8TV and Resto" segment on the show. The "Tuxedo Display" was a definite feature of that segment on YouTube. So MANY rare, low production, and great example of Detroit Muscle in one place it is astounding to see it all there. Some of which were seldom-seen when they were new . . . or we didn't know what we were seeing when we saw them back then.

Enjoy!

This maybe a dumb question, but are they maybe going to do a c-body display next year at the show since it will be 60 years since they made c-bodies in 1965? :poke:. I know they’re not really known as “muscle cars”, but just sayin… they did make a few “muscle car” c-bodies.
