You are both bad influences.
Me too. I'm just glad I got it apart without hurting the #s block. I'm planning on using a 70 440 in this car, the 383 was on a stand and it was time to get it apart or get rid of it.I see a trip to the machine shop in your future
Work get in the way of stripping it?Started with the front bumper and grille tonight.
Nope, fortunately I am back to full time with the Dodges. With the other three together-ish, the exception being the Monacucamonga. I am going to focus on the Broughams metal work to stay warm this winter, that way when spring arrives I will be on to body work and building out the stub.Work get in the way of stripping it?
That's good news. Glad to see that you got a bit of a break at the front of the car.
Rotted cowls are the tipping point for me on these cars. Unless the car is really special, like a Sport Fury GT or Hurst or by some strange reason the rest of the car is really clean, it becomes a parts car once the cowl is gone.
No there isn't. Maybe just shadows and poor lighting making it look like that. It's hard to tell from the pic of just the shifter, but is there a large hole in front of it?
Sunday nights update...I ran out of shielding gas when I started tacking in a patch for the rear footwell. So I figured I would show off the welder making this project solid again. Lincoln 140. 110v. I am running .030 wire.
My buddy Andrew has been my helper when he can and is doing a great job. He has always been into Mopars, but has more experience with K cars and Vans. He wants a 72 Imperial that is at a Junkyard we go to so we will C if I can convert him.
