This one.........good, then consider it saved. Arent you the guy that made several postings last week of cars for sale and declared them "dead" or "will die"

yes, because there are not enough enthusiasts willing to step up.
And those were I comment it like that were far more gone than this one is. Cars sitting on the gras ground for years with completly trashed interieurs AND no eng/trnas

This car is really cool & in pretty good shape but it belongs to blittle so he can light it on fire & piss it out if that's what he wants to do with his car.

But in two door form and many had engines. They all cant be saved You just said not enough enthusiasts and thats not gonna change... how much money should someone shell out for a 4 door fury that needs an engine? By the time its respectable they have four grand into it and it is still a four door sedan which is one of the least desirable models there is

Ross, sure he can. We have seen it often happen by B&E (and just recently here from an A-Body) guy. They buy them to part them out for engines&trans and then throw the body away. They can set them on fire, too. Like you said it is their car.

What makes me feel sad is that those, who are really into C-Bodies, are willing to act like the same. Of course there are cars which are too far gone but a lot of them can be returned easily.

then you should start being honest to people.
Go and tell "cudajames69" and "project IVY " they should sent their cars to hell because both of their 69 Fury CVs are major project cars and financially not worth it getting done. It would be way cheaper for them to buy done cars.

You dont get it and your missing the point. This argument has been fought for the 16 years that I have been on the Drydock and I am on your side..... But its a four door. Ask the seller to put the engine and transmission back in the car and sell it to anyone who will buy it. And why cant he just buy a crate engine to install.....Your late to the defense party buddy

Carsten, I appreciate your passion & love for these cars. I share it with you for sure, as do most others here. Unfortunately you can only control your own behavior & everyone has a right to do as they please.

Too many of these cars sit & rot into the ground & the Mopar brotherhood is pretty tiny compared to ford or chevy so we should stick together.

This guy posted up the car in a place where he thought someone might want to buy it & save it. What else should he do? Anybody who wants to save it can just jam an engine & tranny in it & be on the road. He even said that he's willing to leave the rear end in place in an effort to save the car.

And the ones they are resurrecting are convertibles, two completely different animals. Would you rather this Fury rust where it sits, into the ground and save nothing or doesnt saving a A or B body mean anything either.

I recently parted this one, 71_4_door_Polara_pictures_006.jpg

How much should I have put into it just to save it so Carsten could feel better

this car would have been great for the guy who wants to built a 71 Fury cop car clone.
So many missed chances to save cars and keep them on the road. Not only in show condition

Yeah, but who stepped up to buy it or how long should the seller have held out for someone to save it

Ross I wasn't complaining about the seller but Dave who wanted the dash in case it is crack free. To me it was Dave who was willing to give the Fury the final shot to kill it

No, Dave. You said it is not worth saving the Fury because someone will probably have 4k in it before it is on the road again. Your words. And that the car isn't worth 4k in running/driving condition.

These two Convertibles are more rare. But how much will be into them before they are back on the road ? Way more than they are worth financially. And that is EXACTLY the same fact as with the 71 Fury.

So work with the same scales for all cars, please !!

I oly put the fury on becuase I wanted someone to save it or another one with it, it was running and driving exellent last fall, it was a one owner special order car the trunk and carpet look like new, I have it on other sights in hope of saving it,I would someone a better deal to save it.
