Remember the guy that was on FCBO a couple of years ago and was the insurance speedo fraud guy? He said when the thousands wheel is moved up a tick (like this one is) the speedo turned over 100,000 miles and starting again.

Wear on the car doesn't appear to be 109,000....

So I don't know.

I'm pretty sure the urban myth of the misaligned numbers has been disproven many times over.

I agree....nothing in the photo's show wear of 100,000 miles more than 9,000 miles. Hope someone her pursues this further.

..and back in the ' 80's we could pick up cars like that running and driving for $500 (with the added bonus of burgeoning rust in the quarters) No one wanted them ....If only we had kwown...I wish all my C-Bodies from back then could come back from the great beyond
