Here's the rest of the story. We were the high bidders and won the auction, after notifying the seller of our pick-up arrangements, we received a message from Ebay telling us that the seller didn't receive enough money for his item and would not complete the sale.

Bastards........... .... how can people sleep knowing the underhandedness of a deal/no deal

I had that happen once many years ago. It was just an off week on EB and the car in question did sell way too low... but, I did win a NR auction. The seller wasn't overly friendly about it either... jagoff should have paid attention and cancelled the sale, but I guess he hoped for a last minute dramatic jump in price.

I was able to get EB to remove his relisting, which WAS going for much more money. I wasn't mad at all, I was only bidding because it was too cheap not to. I still felt the principle of the issue shouldn't allow the seller to relist right back on the same venue.
