I think he can get $6500 if there isn't any hidden surprises.

The people have spoken!
Well at least a few people have placed bids so we'll see how it comes out in the wash. Damn nice car though!

just curious, is this quite a large bid for a brown Gran Coupe version of the Fury, or is it the condition driving it? or maybe that's it's a 383 HP (?)

Only the condition, nicest one I've ever seen perhaps in 40 years.
No hp availability on these...360...383-2

Yes, you're correct N is for HP.... I honestly believe these didn't come that way but of course I certainly could be wrong. I've also never seen one dressed in N but it does look like one doesn't it.....

Perhaps another reason for the high dollars

What a beautiful car... even in brown..! That vinyl top is just so lovely 70'ies...

Here's the rest of the story. We were the high bidders and won the auction, after notifying the seller of our pick-up arrangements, we received a message from Ebay telling us that the seller didn't receive enough money for his item and would not complete the sale.

That's shitty...I don't know why ebay doesn't ding people for doing that. If you post no reserve, you accept the risk. If you have a reserve in mind, you should post with that reserve.

No worries Jan, a lot of cars get posted here, it's almost a one stop shop for ebay, craigslist and other sites and you will get a lot of analysis as well. Take all analysis with a grain of salt though because everyone has different priorities and limitations. If a car is worth the money to you, that's all that matters.
