With power sunroof power windows power trunk release AC automatic temperature Control And some other stuff as for the body it's solid other than the lower quarter panels and just behind the rear window on the driver side runs and drives great besides the carburetor needing a rebuild just wondering what it's worth 12140802_999140326794393_1070654700100540234_n.jpg12141502_999140226794403_8994437051382852203_n.jpg12112335_999140213461071_5110895770216950211_n.jpg12063858_999140126794413_1999727156864013510_n.jpg12141541_999140016794424_6025638740063133970_n.jpg12109111_999139996794426_3026933666505467484_n.jpg12108809_999140313461061_2806622135608775422_n.jpg12107201_999140140127745_2128877184636873463_n.jpgVarious 021 (2).jpg

How many miles are on it? It seems to be low miles - is the driver bucket seat torn, and is the rim blow steering wheel cracked anywhere (it appears that there is a crack at the top center, but not sure)? How did you get the underhood to look so clean? Where has it spent most of its existence?

I'll have to check the mileage. It's spent it's life in Western Canada ( Alberta )
Yes the telescopic steering wheel is cracked . The driver seat isnt torn but the stitching has given out in a small area
And as for cleaning the engine bay used a pressure washer

In my opinion if it needs rust repair, paint, interior work, new top etc. but is a good solid survivor driver it should be worth 5K.

Matt: What about the ATC A/C ? Its gonna take a grand to fix it - unless it "needs recharge". . . I'd say $4K.

What I don't understand is how the outside can look so weathered and the inside look so good. Is this another Canadian phenomenum that a California guy wouldn't understand? The car doesn't look rusty on the inside or under the hood really either, like it hasn't been in that humid of a climate????

This car probably never saw a coat of wax, or was never compounded.

Looks nice. Is there rust along the bottom of the rear quarters?

The only thing that I see that could be a headache is the ATC II.

I know nothing about ac but I'd say this color combo makes up for it...

I'd say in Alberta it's worth 2 to 3K CND max. In the US, perhaps 5K USD. Have it painted by a pro, and you'll easily double both your investment, and market penetration. Then put it on eBay, and it just might fetch 15K. Perhaps more. - But with the paint as patinated as it is now, there is no way to sell it, anywhere. All you'll get is us drooling.

To me your biggest problem in selling that car is the distance of Calgary from any port in the US: it costs a dollar a mile to have it transported by a reliable trucking company. It is 670 miles from Calgary to Seattle, which is the nearest port, just to give an example.

I guess it depends on where you are. That could probably be listed for sale, in my area, and sit at $3500 for some time waiting on a local buyer.

I don't think it's the same as that red one for sale as mines actually registered and the interior is not filled with Rusty trim and moisture damage ( odd since Mine has a sunroof )

I have no intention of selling it
Just wanted to see what I paid for it was fair

Sunroof cars are very rare and desirable to some. That car has to be relatively low mileage, which means something to me at least. If I didn't already have one of these, I would gladly pay $5,000 for that car. Well optioned, great colors, one of Chrysler's best looking fuselage models, rare and desirable with what seems to be minimal rust make it easily worth that. I have had no real problems getting ATC II cars' a/c to work when using the Performance Analysis units - and yes they are about $600 each. Try to find another one of these sunroof cars this nice. I am glad he is not intending to sell it - good question though.

I have one of the ATC test boxes.
Here's the major problem with my '76 NYB:
The HVAC box is snug right up against the lower dash panel so it's impossible to hook it up.
And disassembling the dash to get at it is as much fun as having your nutz squeezed in a vise...

Well in the end I got it for 2000 bucks a running drivable sunroof New Yorker
Reason I asked is because it's my first actual Chrysler
The closest thing to a Chrysler I've ever owned before this was my 66 Imperial
And the reason behind why am not selling it is it's easy to sell one but it's not easy to find one
( and I really really really like the design of the body it's absolutely gorgeous !)

Selling already? :poke:

Considering this one hasn't sold for $3k, not as nice and less options, I'd say that would be in the ballpark.

I believe the more comparable example even with the much better paint was the one we discussed in this thread on FCBO - anyone possibly know what it sold for before the auction ended?
