'71 sport fury value

I have two RUST FREE C bodies, a 70 and a 71. My dad just bought a 73 Polara completely RUST FREE. They are out there, just gotta be lucky enough to find that car

Depends on the definition. Surface rust is always there as these cars have sloppy and sometimes in spots no paint on, rims and suspension parts have no primer, just some sort of black paint over it. But I go with your (supposedely) definition after 25 years in the hobby. If you do collision repair as I've done, you'll even see it around the welding spots, not to mention inner structures, if you drill out a quarter or rocker panel.

I can agree with that and probably speak for Dave and I when I say that there are currently no holes formed by rust on our Cars and nor will there be as long as we have ownership of them.

OK. The car does have black interior which is free of holes, tears, or burns. I would say it is like new. As for being rust free...there are no holes in any exterior body panel, and no surface rust on the exterior. The undercarriage does have surface rust, its 40 years old for Petes sake. Trunk floor is super solid. This car has never sat outside or been driven in the winter. I was just looking for a ballpark figure.

My '67 is virtually rust free, all I have found is some surface rust under the hood in a couple of spots where the paint was removed by leaking coolant and brake fluid.

Matt, your Imp is a survivor. We'll see what the peanut gallery has to say at Carlisle. I personally, would deal with any rust issues (if you can find any) and just shoot a couple coats of clear on it to protect the patina.

Wouldn't blame him to hold back till everything is safe and clear, there are hundreds of people maybe roaming around here with the chance to have it snapped up before.

Like circling vultures...

might be.........this board is full of lurkers

That's my thinking. While people turn in there multiple times, with around 500 views already I'm pretty certain of at least a low triple digit amount of viewers. It has always been my policy to not even mention a car I'm looking at before I have it or discard the buy.
