72 Newport-dash tach?

I'd really like to add a tach to my Newport, as it's pretty spartan with options as far as Chryslers go and I want to keep an eye on what the driveline is doing. I know very few were equipped with dash tachs but I have no clock and that hole could be doing something. Does anyone know if some of the factory reproductions fit? If anything I suppose I could get a cheap mini tach but has anyone tried one that looks decently original?

I'm thinking finding a clock would be easier. And more useful

I have a factory tach in my '79 300.... never even look at it and it's as big as my speedometer.

Than again I'm not taking it to the drag strip.

I made and installed one in my 69 Fury , here’s the thread about it. I finished building my 69 fury dash Tach today Your Gauge cluster is different but it’s the same idea , if you have room for a clock you will have room for a tach.

I drive by the tach in two cars, one because I have no dash lights, but the tach does! Plus the speedometers are off and I know what my speed is by RPM.
