72 Newport now in Germany

That list looks nice. I bet that the L31 means a Light package, which includes other lights among the turn signal indicators.

Polara71, it was A01 and it is a light package, but with another code.

Right .. L31 isn't a light package

L31 Hood or Fender Mounted Turn Signal Indicators (source: 1968 - 1974 Mopar bodytag codes )

In the absence of any interior picture (showing some of the lights in the A01 Light package) or the build sheet, I don't see how we can differentiate whether the L31 option or the A01 package is why this '72 Newport has the fender repeaters.

@Xlratr -- would you post photos of the interior (glove box, for example) and trunk, not just so that we can see if there are lights in there but also to vicariously enjoy your car?

I won't be able to do that before the weekend unfortunately. But there is a light mounted to the trunk lid and in the glovebox if that's the reason for your question. Does that help?

Congrats, very good looking car. I am looking forward buying a fuselage car myself. So far I only have a b body. But I hope finding a good one with the help of a friend, that is full of Knowledge and trustworthiness.

Sorry for the late reply, but here are a couple of pics as requested, showing the interior, the glove box and the trunk light. I'm assuming the lights are standard and not part of any option package.

I've also attached a picture of the trunk floor after I put the bedliner on. It's obviously not a restoration job, but I think it looks OK.

Congrats and welcome, Xlratr.

I assume your car was the one for sale at Carracho Classics in Hamburg, right? Looks sweet. Love the color.
Were you looking for a Fuselage in particular? Or just for a classic American car?

Hi Georg
From time to time I browse the internet looking for 2 door Mopars of that period and this one just caught my eye. Plus, it was very close to me. Ended up going for a look and buying it.

@ayilar
Sorry for the late reply. Here some pics of the trim around the window. Hope that's what you're looking for.

Thank you! Do you know if the top or trim has been replaced? My NYB’s is partly painted and I wonder if it’s different for a Newport.
