I use the 518 hard plastic oil pan gasket on my 727's. Reusable and never leaks.

yes, but there is a conversion bellhousing available. you cut off the case at the pump and bolt on the big block bell from j.w.

Suprisingly simple actually. You can cut as far in front of the pump bolts as you feel comfortable, then grind back flush with the pump. It bolts on with longer pump bolts that are supplied IIRC.

Best when done with a sawzall with a bent blade, and the line gets straighter after a few beers...

The PATC 518 convention is for small blocks. Ultra bell is one option. PATC also sells an adapter kit for 518 small block to big block engine.

What i have read. B/E bodies, no need to cut floor. Only modify transmission cross member. A-bodies need little bit more work, but no need to cut floor.
