My Dad's 75 Gran Fury had a 360/904 and I suspect if the Heavy Duty/Tow Package box didn't get checked on the order sheet, most SB C's got the 904.
The one in my Dad's GF was out 3 or 4 times under warranty and the 904 in the 69 Belvedere that preceded it probably twice that before they replaced it outright with a new one.
He had no luck with Mopars. The first one was a 66 Coronet. /6 that didn't make it to 60K. He limped it the last months before the 69 got ordered and he had to secure the push on oil filler because the blow by would blow it off.
3 strikes and it was Ford Blue at the farm for over 15 years.
