Hello, looking for a 73-76 style kickdown for a 440 w AVS/carter 4bbl. Would prefer something from a known donor, I've already bought three kickdowns that weren't correct. 383/400 doesn't fit. Thanks

I'm no expert, but with the black center portion, that looks like the phenolic resin center of a thermoquad. I thought the thermoquad was a spread bore. Is the kickdown linkage the same for thermoquad and AVS? Thanks, Ben

It’s for reference only, and that’s a Demon carb. I think the only difference may be the length of the slot in the slide? I’ll eventually be using an edelbrock. I’ve used this same setup for a thermoquad before on an eddy with no issues, I think the only change would be with a Holley which I don’t think was offered after 71 but I could be wrong. Thanks

Ok, so I've narrowed it down a bit. 73-76 linkage will work, this style has the adjustment on the trans side as opposed to the carb side like above (box with bolt and spring). The main rod has a box end at the C swivel. I really just need the main rod more than anything, I'm working on a part number. Thanks

I have this set up I got from a 70 Charger with 440. I thought this set up came out for 71. Not sure if it’s correct for u. I have a bunch of rods from years ago. I’ll see if I can match 1 up to this rod. I wrecked a few big Chrysler’s back then. Kim

On 71/72 the main rod is adjustable at the swivel on the throttle bracket via a bolt. It changed for 73. Thanks

My 73 parts book shows the main rod as 14-11-9 but there isn't a part number listed for 440. Supposedly changed style after June of 73. Anyone have a 74 book?

Can you post a photo of the whole rod? Top rod in this one is supposedly for 440, bottom rod for 383/400. Yours looks like a match but it's hard to tell from that angle. PM sent

I have these, let me know if you see anything. I do have a bunch more throttle control brackets too.

It's pretty much impossible to say. They do (or should) have a part number on them but I haven't found a good resource with common ones. The 71-72 style is apparently very common on motorhomes through the late 70s.

Kim, on the first one that you posted that was painted silver, check near the head (engine side) for a stamped number. See if it says 758.

I don’t see numbers on any of them.
