Even the hood ornament is in great shape........

If anyone is getting parts off this car.....I need a few things.

Sunroof, Sure Grip, drivetrain missing.......I bet this one had a dang 440 in it!

  • Steve Kaus If its a clean, titled, good running car, why was your preference to part it out? Everyone that commented is wondering why. What's the deal? Maybe just explain it to these folks? To be honest it doesn't make any sense, and forgive me, but I think i speak for all commenters when I say this is understandibly getting suspicious...

  • Daves Soutehrn Rides Well you see i said 3k takes it. you don't see anyone jumping on it do you? That said, no one wants it parted out but yet no one will buy it. So i would just keep the 440 because there getting hard to find and just let the car go. And sometimes you need one car parted out to help alot of other with parts they need, other wise were do you find your parts.

  • Dwain Christopherson I listed this one on this site for 6 months....started at $2,500 and ended up taking $1,600 (better not say who bought it)....at least geographically you are closer to the guys that said that they would buy if it was closer...Yours is a beautiful car, though..hope someone steps up and buys it!

  • Steve Kaus Ok thats a perfectly good reason and I wasn't trying to jump on ya or imply there was funny business going on but I noticed everyone was questioning why, and when no answer was given why you chose to part out what (from the photos) looks like a GREAT c...See More

  • Steve Kaus Oh ok. A guy out of Michigan had one just like yours for sale but his price was firm, and he was asking a high price to ward off the derby guys mostly, and it was spotless for a rust belt daily driver. I would have been sick to find out that got into their hands. Yours is no exception.

  • David Touchette I would also hate to see it parted out, but that is your choice to make. I saved my 72 New Yorker from the demo derby for $1800. Other than that DAMNED Auto Temp, she's fine.

  • Pierce K Hawke It is what it is. I find it weird that someone would order up a Newport with those options since a NYB (Imperial) was the higher dollar model.

Too bad because his last price of $2500 was a very very good deal on this car with 440 and sunroof. One could say way below sticker.

Everybody telling what has to be done and NOBODY steps up to the plate.
That's a part about forums that I detest...

Then, it starts to get parted, everybody will jump on the bits and pieces like vultures.

Last I checked ......no one is making replacement parts for Formal's. WhereTF else are you going to get parts from???
