As many know for the last few years things have been turbulent to put it mildly. We've been looking at purchasing a home with some land for a multitude of reasons, one being the ability to get everything of mine in one place that I own and control.
After looking at dozens of houses over the last few years, we finally ended up having a deal go through and we take possession of our new home on Jan. 27th. It's a huge relief and also a mixture of other feelings.
While it didn't meet our exact needs, it did check off numerous large items we wanted collectively.
So theres a 24x30 garage with a second story, a 16x32 stable, 10 flat dry acres that when I approached the township I can build on 9.65 of.
For this coming year I'll get the garage set up so I can use it, I'll retrofit the stable for storage of my tractors and I'll get the property cleaned up and decide where im going to put a barn/shop.
