A little help with a 1966 new yorker

I bought a 66 new Yorker from a guy needing money. . The 383 I excepted to get has been replaced many years ago. I guess it's a 72 440. It says B440 3 11 2 with a large A . Intake and carb seem to be 66 383. Car is a sedan that's very original and solid. Not sure what to do with it. It was too cheap to say no.

B440 is a 66 block. 72 would be H440. They started with A in 65 and went up from there.

Hey Al! The 2 after the 11 is 2nd shift and the A is for .020 overbore.
How about a pic of the rest of it and the interior?

Any ideas what the stamping means? BZC stamped into the intake manifold.

I can't answer that but I have a '66 440 intake here in the shop with the same mark on it.
