Rewiring my 1970 D200 with a painless harness. Doing away with dash oil, temp, amp gauges and instead using aftermarkets. Painless doesn't supply a dedicated wire for a volt gauge. Am thinking off just adding one to the switched "on" side of the ignition switch that feeds the fuse block and jumping over to the volt gauge. Opinions? Maybe add a fuse and if so what amp ?
