Hey guys I'm running some aftermarket digital gauges (previous owner has the analog with a plastic oil line running into the car) well anyways I'm not too familiar with the C body wiring for fuse box. I was wondering if anyone knew good locations I could tap into for 12 volt ignition wire to run power to these gauges and lights. I'm mounting them inside the glove box so I can hide them for shows and open the box when driving.

Possibly a "switched" and an "unswitched" 12V unused terminals in the existing fuse block?

Cigarette lighter would be "unswitched" 12V, as would be the feed to the map light. Power to the radio would be "switched" (controlled by the ign switch).

Look for "candelabra" connectors under the dash that bullet connector terminated lines connect to. They are different colors depending on function (eg. orange to power lights). Most candelabras have some empty spaces to connect to. Then test to see when they are powered (key or not). Easiest way to plumb something in on a Formal that I have found.
