Still basking in all the positive comments on my previous "1971 brown Imp for sale-post" :yaayy: I post again with the same recipe :sunny:

I'm thrilled that this one is brown, coz if it had been black or white, I would have had to buy it..! It's really really good looking !

Rare opportunity to own a true American icon!

1971 Imperial Lebaron 2 door Hardtop stunning survivor in excellent rust free original condition. Recently removed from long term dry storage...it is one of only 1,442 produced in 1971, very few were equipped with the rare factory options listed below:

- Power factory sunroof
- AM/FM Stereo with cassette recorder, microphone included
- Headlamp washers
- Power bucket seats (both sides) with fold down armrest
- Right side reclining bucket seat
- Heavy duty trailer tow prep package, and transmission cooler (no hitch)
- Power vacuum trunk release
- Automatic temperature control
- 440 engine
- Power locks, windows etc.

Recent maintenance completed:

- New brake shoes, disc pads and wheel cylinders
- New rebuild brake booster and master cylinder
- New Coker classic radial tires
- Rebuilt power steering pump
- Changed oil and filter
- A/C charged
- New left power window gear

Condition:

100% rust free body with mostly original paint. The right side door has some paint checking from some touch up's that were done many years ago...see pics.

The chrome bumpers and trim are all in excellent condition.

All the lights, options and accessories work as they should. This car runs and drives as new, very tight and quiet. Only 60,550 pampered actual miles. This car is ready to be driven, and is the most comfortable Chrysler vehicle that I have ever owned!

The leather interior, door panels and headliner have zero age issues, truly remarkable for being 45 years old! Even the floor mats are original Mopar parts.

Last Saturday I attended Jim Riehl's Mopar only annual car show and won the best in class award.

Call or email with questions @ 586 917 1718 before 11 PM EST.

Car is sold as-is, I can help with worldwide shipping arrangements.

I was going to be a smart *** and ask him how much he wanted for it but I thought no one in their right mind will sell such a gorgeous car....
btw I think the color combo on this one is fantastic!

Despite not being particular fond of brown cars, I agree on the color Matt, but not ready to pay silly "sunroof money" for a brown car..

However, the imps carry almost any color with dignity.. being such an extremely beautiful car..!

The rear shot by itself is amazing.. he must have used a mild wide angle lens

I will keep an eye on this auction.. :elmer:

I agree the blue is a better color. But I have to also admit that the metallic brown is very stunning in the sun too.

That interior is amazing in that color in conjunction with the white top. I saw this car in person on Saturday before it was for sale and it's truly stunning.

Anyone looking for a 59 belvedere? I can hardly believe my eyes.

It has headlamp washers....

Best looking Imp grill for the Fusies.

how about the '69 vs. the other years? I think I prefer the 69, but actually the 72 is quite "menacing" too.... and 73 had the bumper guards, but...

My call is that this one is going to Europe...

not sure it will go to europe.
Most guys here don't want a hole in the roof.
Either no roof or a complete one ;o))

I would be out anyway due to "brown"

With no garage....I'm not fond of sunroof cars either.

I agree completely.. The 69' grill is my absolute favorite... I did a lot of thinking before I chose which one to buy, and I found the fine mesh in the grill to be the better looking, and after a good long consideration, I think the 69 rear bumper also has a more clean look. When you then ad the SUPER COOL "shark gill style" side marker lights (or simply "Shark lights", if we ask our friend Xavier), there's very little doubt in my mind. The last bit of doubt was rinsed away by the way way superior '69 hub caps. Also perfer the 69 door panels

1969 is my favorite.

EDIT: Drawbacks for 69' = The steering column lock was not introduced until 1970.. and I would have liked that..! Also the 1970 bucket seats are superior in my book.. If anyone has a set, I'd be interested to buy!

All this said, these are only little details. I LOVE all of them, and would not hesitate to buy another if I got a good offer.

Just picked up the key for my new garage/storage for "The blue wonder", and I think I could easily fit another in there :-D

Funny that you mention the 72 too, as it has the best looking grill/front setup of them all, IMO...
