Hey everybody, I just purchased another great car. I’ve been looking for a ‘66 300 for some time now, and when this one came up it checked ALL the boxes for me. Here are some pics, thanks for looking!

I love the color and I love the 66's. Very Very Nice! That looks like one I was checking into several years ago in colorado. It was one owner, just couldnt swing it back than. Good luck with it.

Beautiful car in a beautiful color combination!

Yep, this is that car. A guy from Detroit bought it in 2021. I purchased it from him this past Saturday.

What a beautiful car. All the plastic for the lights / lenses look like factory. I see it has the disc brake wheel covers - discs up front and drums in back? 383 under the hood?

I had a feeling it was! Cant be that many around like that. I had spoke to the man several times and was going to drive up from texas to see it, but other things came up. Thats when I found my burgundy 68 300. That is a real nice one!

Thanks! Yes all the plastic and lenses are original and perfect. No cracking or hazing whatsoever. It does have disc brake caps, and it does have power brakes. However, it’s a drum brake car. The previous owner put the disc caps on the car because when he bought it, it came with a set of 70s Cordoba spoked hubcaps. He didn’t like them, and had a set of ‘66 Disc Brake hubcaps laying around and put them on the car. They look great, but do give off incorrect information. I plan on putting a set of 300 spinner caps and going back to 14” wheels. I have a set laying around with good tires. Good catch though!

Yes, 383 4 barrel under the hood with a set of dual exhaust. Still running the factory Carter AFB.

Yeah there can’t be many with this color combination. No mistaking this one! Thank you, beautiful ‘68 by the way!

Lucky you - of all C-bodies, the one I would most likely "sell it to the devil" for would be a '66 300 in Turbine Bronze. The white/black interior only improve on it - CONGRATS, and I hope you'll bring it to Carlisle this summer for us all to drool over.

It’ll be there! Be sure to come say hello!

Nice lookin car!
But stick with the 15 inch tires.
You will find it very hard to find any 14 inch passenger tire in the broad market and the ones readily available are specialty tires that are super expensive.
Not many 14's are tall enough to match the factory bias ply requirement.
I went through this with a couple C bodies and I also sold tires for 25 years.

I have some correct '66 300 14" wheel covers if you are interested. BTW, nice car.

She's beautiful!

Wow, that would be my top pick for colors on a ‘66 and the car looks mint to boot! I’m really jealous that I missed that one if it came out of Colorado(!) If you decide that car is not for you, I would be happy to bring it back to the state :)
